OUR STORY
George and JoAnn Becker opened Brushy Creek Lodge and Resort in 1997 to help accommodate people coming to Valley Springs Foxtrotters in search of the perfect Missouri Foxtrotter. Valley Springs is located in such a rural area that there isn't much lodging available for those needing somewhere to stay overnight. Everyone loved the trails and facility here at Brushy Creek so much that it has grown in the years since 1997 to become one of the best equine campgrounds in the United States. Located in the Eastern Ozarks and in the heart of the Mark Twain National Forest, our facility has the resources to offer you the ultimate in family vacationing; a place where dreams become reality and western adventure is an everyday way of life. If you just need to get away from the daily grind and absorb some genuine Ozark solitude, then our rustic lodging, swimming, and hospitable staff is your ticket to a new outlook on life. Saddle your family up for a genuine cross-country trail ride through the Mark Twain National Forest, or maybe even pending a few hours on horseback as you ride through the Ozarks. We'll have all that and MUCH more!
Our own "Trail's End Restaurant" is second to none when it comes to serving up the kind of grub that really satisfies a hungry trail-buster, and there'll be no better place to relax with friends and swap stories than in our rustic John Wayne room. You'll find seclusion in one of our rustic, well-furnished cabins tucked back in the trees. And for you campers we have an equestrian campground designed to handle tents, pop-ups, horse trailers, and RVs. Complete with shower facilities, stables, Wi-Fi and 150 miles of trails. Brushy Creek is planning to make your family vacation, family reunion, church retreat, or corporate getaway a time you will long remember.

THE LODGE
At Brushy Creek there is always plenty to do. You can relax in the sun at our swimming hole, read a good book, play games, throw horseshoes, or go floating on the crystal clear Black River. The wildlife is abundant, the creeks and streams run clear, the hills are inviting, and the night sky is about as big as it gets. No matter how seasoned or how new you are to "settin" in the saddle", we have trained staff that will make your adventure enjoyable, safe, and memorable.
At the end of a long days ride on the trails you will need some chow! Our very own Trails' End Restaurant will cook you up a good old fashioned home cooked meal that will satisfy your hunger.
We also open up our lodge for private banquets, Anniversaries, Birthdays, Family Reunions, Weddings, Christmas Parties, Sweetheart Banquets, Senior Lunches, Sunday School and Churches, Business Meetings and so much more! Call for availability.
"Love love Brushy Creek!! The people are fantastic, treat you like family. It's the cleanest horseback riding facility I've been to. The food is real down home cooking. Go back at least twice a year."
